A man, now in his 40’s will revive a compensation package of £7 million in settlement of his clinical negligence claim. He cannot be named for legal reasons by High Court Judge in London.
The Manchester based medical negligence specialist Melissa Gardner stated his family had “fought extremely hard to secure compensation for their son”, and should be “commended for their care and perseverance”.
His family said “No amount of money can ever replace the life he has lost, but it can and will secure his future.” It is hoped that this was a major learning curve for the NHS and nothing like this ever occurs again.
